I want to take this opportunity to welcome any and all new readers and to thank those readers who have been with me since September 28,2007 or since somewhere in between. This has been a fabulous journey and it has taken me in magnificent directions unforeseen.
To bring those new readers up to speed:
My name is Carla Golden and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and health enthusiast. Learning to live a healthy lifestyle - physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, socially and financially - has been a hobby of mine for many years and now I'm sharing with others what I've learned along the way and continue to learn.
My goal is to reach out to my audience and inspire and encourage healthier lifestyle practices so that we may all get the most out of our lives and enjoy long, robust lives. I would not recommend anything here that I have not, nor would not, try myself. And, remember, I am not a doctor. My suggestions should not override anything you and your physician have orchestrated before further consultation.
During the years of my personal research and development, I have tried different theories and methods as well as products. I have narrowed down all my wellness and personal care products to those offered by Young Living. Young Living offers the most pure and diverse array of personal care items that I have found yet. If you know of a company who offers the quality and diversity to rival Young Living, please let me know. I am always looking to improve! Young Living offers me the opportunity to constantly refine and finesse my body, mind, emotions, soul, tribe and finances.
I encourage you to follow my lead if it is direction you need. Whether or not you ever try a Young Living product doesn't bother me. It won't stop me from using them or promoting them (until/if the next best thing comes along). There is a lot of information and guidance here to share, understand and utilize. Take what you need.
Be sure to read Kim's Story and Marcy's Story to see how others have put to use the Get Healthier! Program.
I was at a meeting recently and saw someone whom I had not seen in, oh...10 years? I said "Hello" and he looked at me, paused, and said "Oh Carla! Hi! I didn't recognize you! You look so young!" Oh, yes, and I didn't pay him to say that. And better yet, one of my faithful blog readers was witness to the moment.
There is no doubt in my mind that my lifestyle and personal choices have slowed down the aging process for me. I intend to live a very long time. I love life and I want to take it all in as long as I can.
Welcome! I invite you to join me on this journey. Everything you put on or around your body, mind, heart, or soul is a choice. We can all make better choices! The difference is education.
Live light, xo-C.
